About Me
I’m a Librarian and Archivist committed to building inclusive, empowering spaces where communities can connect with information, each other, and their own histories. Currently, I serve as the Patron Resource Coordinator at SMU’s Fondren Library, where I develop student-focused programming through the Student Success Team. From curating heritage book displays to creating supply stations and collaborating with campus departments and public libraries, I aim to make libraries more responsive, welcoming, and supportive.
My approach to librarianship is shaped by my broader dedication to community, creativity, and memory work. I’m the founding president of Apprentice Creative Space, a nonprofit literary arts organization devoted to mentorship, co-creation, and the free exchange of knowledge. I also work as a freelance artist and photographer, practicing out of Cedars Union and the Shamrock Hotel Studios in Dallas. My visual arts practice deeply informs my archival work—training my eye for detail, documentation, and the aesthetics of memory. Whether through art or archives, my mission remains the same: to preserve stories, expand access, and support creative communities.
